All posting as of today will be done over at www.gameresearch.wordpress.com. The layout is more organized and doesn’t look as messy. Regular post will be harder to follow, but just view the recent post or view by archive.

I’ve always had an interest in AI development. Something about being able to design, code and implement an intelligent set of instructions that could some day, be so highly advance it could replace us. I’ve come across this article at Gamasutra with the title “The 2007 Game AI Awards”. I’m not particularly interested in the awards its self but the research of the design.

Power leveling players no longer need to sit and grind the wee hours of the early morning in order to gain levels. Instead they just need to have money. Its definitely a good business, especially if situated in Asian countries due to lower labor cost. Leigh Alexander from Worlds in Motion does a bit of research on the topic; company Usfine and their integration in the power leveling business.

I’m sure every person who is currently doing a study tell their parents (if your a student) some thing similar to this article. It stops your parents from saying your doing nothing all day when your actually playing games….. There are some points in this article that I do not agree with so I have only highlighted the points that interest me. Again it is not throughly highlighted. What is important is that this article has listed down points that we were probably to lazy to jog down even onto a piece of paper.
It is regular reading of articles similar to this that keep us on track, but it once again hard to get down to just some thing so basic as reading. I have read tons and tons of articles similar to this but each time they bring back a little motivational sprite that still exist within myself to keep going.

I’ve come to a dilemma.
Back in the days I used to always think of going back to england. Now I’m here and my studies are probably the most important aspect of my life. My personal future depends on it. But is it worth it when certain factors tend to play a role. So I’ve come to the point, where I have to decide what is more important.
What is more important?
Studying in London or going back to Malaysia. Both of which I can continue studying. And each with their own advantages and disadvantages.
To be continued (I have to study for an exam now -_-”)….
